When wildlife filmmaker, Remy Tarasin, learns that a wild brumby he once befriended may have fallen victim to the brumby cull, he launches an expedition to find out if he’s still alive. Remy and his team travel up through Australia’s wild and remote Snowy Mountains in search of the elusive wild horse known to Remy as The Grey. But these mountains are unlike anywhere else in Australia, and the team must endure ice and snow and the expanse of the rugged terrain to try and track down the elusive grey stallion before it’s too late.

In Plain Sight takes us to the heart of California’s last remaining grasslands, the Carrizo Plain, where a family of San Joaquin Kit Foxes struggle to survive in a harsh and desolate landscape. As spring unfolds, a mother fox must hunt relentlessly to provide for her pups, while racing against the fleeting abundance of the season.

In the coastal rainforest of New Zealand, fur seal pups undertake a curious and unexpected journey from the beach in search of a hidden waterfall. Travelling up the crystal clear freshwater streams, the pups must clamber up slippery boulders and torrenting rapids to reach their secret play pool. This unique behaviour has been documented nowhere else, but if climate change continues to affect the Kaikoura seal colony, this may be the last we see of this journey.

What makes this team so effective is the diversity of backgrounds and skillset. While each member has a wealth of filmmaking experience, they each bring a certain specialty that adds a dynamic flavour and style to the productions.
This team is extremely proud of the minimal environmental impact these films produced. These productions were focused on minimising international transportation of kit, time spent in the field, and rapid production schedules that all contributed to a faster project turnaround at a significantly reduced financial and environmental impact without compromising on the quality of telling these exceptional stories.
