ABOUT
In 2023 he was accepted into the acclaimed Wildlife Filmmaking Masters at UWE Bristol in collaboration with the BBC Natural History Unit. This collaboration resulted in the award winning adventure and expedition film 'In Search of The Grey' that Remy produced back home in Australia. This story included a personal element to Remy's filmmaking, and opened the door to a more considered discussion surrounding wild horse management in Australia's mountains.

Remy is a wildlife and documentary filmmaker from Sydney, Australia, however he's been fortunate over the last few years to have travelled the globe documenting some of nature's most fantastic wildlife behaviours and natural phenomena's. With a background in environmental science and wildlife ecology from Sydney University, he's been able to utilise these skills in the field to better understand the intricate relationships in nature to share with the world.

Remy aims to tell stories about the flourishing natural world, but he also wants highlight where it's struggling. It's no secret humans are having an effect on the planet's ecosystems, but there's much that can be done to save it. By exploring simple and effective strategies that can be implemented by local stakeholders, he aims to inspire action and showcase that even small accomplishments can have helpful, long reaching effects.
Alpine ecosystems are Remy's specialty and passion and he loves being above the snow line. Working in freezing conditions with the gales blowing snow and ice across the lens is where Remy feels most alive. He hopes this will one day bring him to the Himalayas where he can film the elusive snow leopard. Remy's latest project involves exploring the rugged alpine and snow capped mountains of Australia, in search of a wild animal friend.
